Stone Fragments
There are seven pieces of loose stone, believed to be architectural fragments from an earlier church building, dating from 12th – 13th century.
These stone fragments were possibly discovered in an area of walling north of the chancel arch, during the church restorations between 1850 – 1852. However, there has been some evidence suggesting that the original chancel arch was built around 1250.
