Music at St Mary'sSt Mary’s has a strong musical tradition. Built around the regular weekly services of Sung Eucharist and Choral Evensong, our highly-regarded choir of boys and adults sings a wide variety of music. St Mary's Ladies Choir lead the Sunday worship and perform an anthem once a month. During the summer months a 'scratch' choir operates, open to all.

The present church building was mainly built in the late 14th and 15th centuries although there is evidence that there was a church on this site in 1085 when the Domesday Survey was taken.
